Based on the frenetic music by the famous pianist Hiromi, Grégoire Manhes & Eloïse Grastilleur imagine
a muscular and explosive duet with a hybrid gesture, between dance and martial arts. Oscillating between
the phantasmagoric video game's physicality, the greatest kung-fu movies' martial fervor or the absurd intensity
of some sportive training, this short creation is sweating references and makes fun of them by twisting it.
World Champions is the first part of a choreographic project inspired by the martial arts imagery.

As a contemporary ecological tale, Grégoire Manhes' new creation presents an absurd and poetic universe where natural rhymes with artificial. Inspired by Mort Garson's music, Plantasia evokes childhood, emancipation and the fear of the unknown while simultaneously raising essential ecological issues.
As a double project, a stage version and a choreographic movie, the Plantasia(s) project propose a double vision to the audience.
By preserving the same narrative, musical and choreographic material, each version explore in depth the naive universe created by the choreographer, by using diverse creative tools.
